About The Chelmsford Mothers' Club Kids Tag Sale
The Chelmsford Mothers Club has been organizing a twice-yearly seasonal consignment sale since 2006. Since our first sale, we have tripled the number of sellers, increased our revenue by 500%, and grown so much that we now require the largest available rental space in Chelmsford.
- Our sale is truly a win-win for customers, sellers and local charities.
- Our customers are able to purchase gently-used (and many new) baby and children's items, from clothing to toys to books to gear, for very reasonable prices.
- Our sellers have a venue to sell their gently-used items, earning back some of the original cost of the many items that babies and children require, and donating the remaining items to charity.
- Many of our unsold items are donated to local charities. Since 2006, we have donated truckloads of baby and children's clothing, shoes, toys, books, baby gear, nursery and feeding items, winter coats, and more to charities such as the Lowell Wish Project, the Anne Sullivan Center, Cradles to Crayons, and the Epilepsy Foundation.
- Lastly, when possible, the Chelmsford Mothers' Club donates its profits from the Kids Tag Sale to local non-profit organizations. Since 2008, the CMC has donated thousands of dollars to the Chelmsford Library, the Chelmsford Open Space Stewardship, and other worthy organizations.
